Lucy will be the first space mission to explore a population of small bodies known as the JupiterTrojan asteroids. This mission plan includes encounters with three main belt alsteroid and eight Jupiter Trojans. The Lucy spacecraft also observed the impact of the DART spacecraft into the Dimorphos, the moon of the Didymos system.
