Dinkinesh in 3D: live position and orbit

A small main-belt asteroid about 790 metres at its widest, the first visited by NASA’s Lucy, on 1 November 2023. Lucy found that it has a moon, Selam, itself made of two bodies touching each other.

Dinkinesh is shown at its real position, computed from NASA/JPL ephemeris data. The view opens on Dinkinesh; you can travel in time, switch between the educational overview and the true-scale voyage, and compare it with every other body of the solar system.
