Psyche in 3D: live position and orbit

A metal-rich asteroid about 220 kilometres across, in the main belt between Mars and Jupiter. It is the target of NASA’s Psyche mission, launched in 2023 and due to arrive in 2029: the first mission to a metal-rich world.

Psyche is shown at its real position, computed from NASA/JPL ephemeris data. The view opens on Psyche; you can travel in time, switch between the educational overview and the true-scale voyage, and compare it with every other body of the solar system.
