Wild 2 in 3D: live position and orbit

A comet about 4 kilometres across. NASA’s Stardust flew past it in January 2004, collected particles of its dust and returned them to Earth in January 2006.

Wild 2 is shown at its real position, computed from NASA/JPL ephemeris data. The view opens on Wild 2; you can travel in time, switch between the educational overview and the true-scale voyage, and compare it with every other body of the solar system.
