Solar Orbiter in 3D: live position and trajectory

Launched in 2020, it studies the Sun from an elongated orbit that dips inside Mercury’s and climbs out of the plane of the planets.

The real position of Solar Orbiter is shown, from the trajectory computed by NASA JPL Horizons. The view opens on Solar Orbiter; you can travel in time, follow its route and compare it with the planets.
